Mountain Equipment Co-op. Close to home and always a great selection of both their products as well as all of the other brands you’d expect at an outdoors shop.

First Ascent! Best gear I have ever used. Durable and designed by expert mountain guides such as Peter Whittaker and Ed Viesturs. A relatively new line, First Ascent by Eddie Bauer/Whittaker Mountaineering. The gear holds up extremely well in extreme conditions and when climbing the steepest rock face, mountain, or ice. Perfect for Mt. Rainier and the Himalayas or just your local mountain ranges such as the cascades. I use it year round from just day hikes, travel, backpacking, mountaineering, and climbing.
