Wrist 6 Paracord Survival Bracelets: A 550 lbs Life Line Review and Giveaway

So you’re out camping, you’ve hiked ten miles into the backcountry, you pull out your tent only to find that you forgot the tent line – or you are rock climbing, nowhere near the base or summit and you have a small gear failure – or you need extra line for your hammock, car tie downs, or backpack. No problem, with 8 – 16 feet of paracord woven together on your Wrist 6 paracord bracelet, you’ve got enough cord for almost any minor or major emergency. The 550 paracord line can hold up to 550 pounds, hence the name, and will be more than strong enough for anything you can through at it.

Wrist 6, is a maker of the functional and wearable paracord bracelets that you can easily clip on to your wrist and forget about it until the time comes when you need it. When disaster strikes, just simply unravel the weave for a useful length of uber strong cord, the application are limitless, and you won’t be caught unprepared.
(Be sure to follow Branchwhipped.com on Facebook for notifications of new Reviews and Giveaways)

Not only is it a convenient way to carry useful cord around, but in case of emergencies in the backcountry you’ll be glad you have the extra line when needed. The waterproof bracelet fastens with a simple click around your wrist, or clip it to your backpack strap. In that case clip a few to your backpack strap.

We put the cord through the test, although no one here weighs 550 lbs. To test the limit of the cord, we did hang it from a tree and give a lot of good bounces to certify that this cord means business. It does stretch quite a bit under weight, but by no means did it give any indications of strain when we were bouncing on it like a pogo stick. The Wrist 6 bracelets are comfortable in the sense a watch band is without the watch – lightweight, you’ll forget its there, until you need it, or unless you choose one of the brighter colors offered. Orange would be my favorite.

You can be sure your bracelet is built to last. When we received our samples we were all surprised at how tight and consistent the weave is, when unclicked most of the bracelets retain their curved shape, also the plastic clasps are curved to fit the curvature of your wrist. Although the bracelets are woven tight, there is not an issue of it being uncomfortable while on your wrist. The quality, tight weave goes to show how much care is put into the hand making process if each one. Photos can not portray how well these are actually put together.

Bottom line, (no pun intended) when you are in the need of a solid length of rope, you can count on a Wrist 6 paracord bracelet to offer you the convenience and strength for most needs without being bulky and being wearable or clipping to your key chain.

The photo below shows the key fob style key chains made by Wrist 6, to always have a length of line with you anywhere you go.
